Event Horizon Privacy Policy
Effective date: [to be added]
Event Horizon is made by Strange Matter Studio LLC ("we", "us"), an Illinois company. This policy explains what the game does with information about you. The short version: it collects nothing.
What the game collects
Nothing. Event Horizon has no accounts, no ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics and no online features. The rival black holes are computer-controlled, not other players. Its optional bonus buttons (extra time, double stardust) give the bonus straight away without showing anything. The game doesn't send any information about you or your device to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your device
The game saves your levels, stars, stardust, Star Chart upgrades and settings on your device so you can pick up where you left off. That save never leaves your device, and we can't see it. It's deleted when you delete the game. On some devices your system backup (iCloud or Google) may include it, under Apple's or Google's own policies.
Permissions
The game asks for no permissions. It doesn't use your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos. Vibration feedback (haptics) needs no permission.
Apple and Google
You download the game from the App Store or Google Play, and those stores handle the download under their own privacy policies. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These reports don't identify you, and we use them only to fix problems.
Children
The game is made for a general audience and collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If a future version adds optional ads or anything else that collects information, we'll update this policy first, with a new effective date, name the providers, and the store listing will show the change.
