Hot Fix Privacy Policy

Hot Fix is made by Strange Matter Studio LLC ("we", "us"), an Illinois company. This policy explains what the game does with information about you.
The short version
- Today, Hot Fix sends us nothing. Your progress is saved on your device.
- If you're signed in to Game Center, Apple shows your Hot Fix achievements there.
- We don't sell information, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- When we turn on online features (saving your progress to our server, events with other players, purchases), we'll update this policy first and tell you in the game.
What stays on your device
The game saves your jobs, currencies, Fuses, trophies, cosmetics, Tool Bench and settings on your device. That save never leaves your device in this version, and we can't see it. It's deleted when you delete the game. On some devices your system backup (iCloud or Google) may include it, under Apple's or Google's own policies.
Game Center (iPhone and iPad)
If you're signed in to Game Center on your device, Hot Fix signs you in to it automatically and reports the trophies you earn as Game Center achievements. Game Center is Apple's service, run under Apple's privacy policy: Apple holds your Game Center profile and achievements. We don't receive your name, email or contacts, and this version doesn't store your Game Center ID on our servers. You can sign out of Game Center in your device's Settings.
Online features (not switched on yet)
These are built but not active. When we turn one on, this section will say so, with its date:

None of this will be used for advertising or tracking, sold, or shared except with the service providers that run our servers for us. Data sent to our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). You'll be able to delete your account and its data from inside the game, or by emailing us.
Payments
Hot Fix has no purchases today. If it adds them, payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
Ads
Hot Fix shows no ads on phones. Our games only ever use optional, rewarded ads that you choose to watch. If Hot Fix adds them, we'll update this policy first and name the provider. The web version on game portals such as CrazyGames runs under the portal's own privacy policy and may show the portal's ads.
Apple and Google
You download the game from the App Store or Google Play, under their own privacy policies. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics, which we use only to fix problems.
Children
Hot Fix is made for a general audience. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and this version collects none from anyone. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your data: deleting the game removes everything it saved on your device. Once online features are on, you can also delete your account in the game or email us with your player ID.
- Ask about or correct your data: email us. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have more rights, such as access, deletion and objection. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in the game when the change affects what we collect.
